Sung's Saga

These are my stories, and stories are most pleasant when they're shared

In my infatuation for art, I grew more fond of the strange world I live in and the even stranger person I am. I was a closeted dreamer early in life, binging shows and movies of various conceptions, from the wild plot of Adventure Time to the deep arc of Your Name. Beneath all of these media were the hearts of their creators that inspired me to hone storytelling for myself. The more I utilized my passion into practice, the more my life was drawn towards animated drawings. Articulating even my worst hardships through pencil and paper flip books allowed me to transform them into purposeful works when I shared them, and I loved it all the way.

I developed a very simplistic style, as I believe it gives the audience more time to process and reflect the content of my pieces. To relate the theme to their individual lives means I have successfully touched their sympathy to drift in the motions of another life they would not have experienced. Toon Boom Harmony allows me to easily transfer my creativity into images, while After Effects allows me to turn images into messages. With all of these combined, I could focus on fleshing out the truth and morals behind my tales that commented on reality and relatable to humanity. Despite going all digital, I also hope to make stories through organic means soon.
